Barak: Israel ready to divide Jerusalem

JERUSALEM – Ahead of the start of today's Mideast summit in Washington, the Israeli government publicly conceded sections of Jerusalem will become part of a Palestinian state while holy sites would be governed by a "special regime."

Speaking in an interview with Israel's Haaretz newspaper, Defense Minister Ehud Barak outlined a deal with the Palestinians: "West Jerusalem and 12 Jewish neighborhoods that are home to 200,000 residents will be ours. The Arab neighborhoods in which close to a quarter million Palestinians live will be theirs."

"There will be a special regime in place along with agreed upon arrangements in the Old City, the Mount of Olives and the City of David," added Barak.

Barak told the newspaper what is needed "is courage to make historic, painful decisions. I'm not saying that there is certainty for success, but there is a chance. This chance must be exploited to the fullest."

What? This can't be! How can Netanyahu and the Israeli people be willing to give up part of Jerusalem?

What about those who shed their blood in capturing the holy city? Does their spent lives mean anything?

Thing is, in the last days Jerusalem will be divided.

It is the final and last straw that causes Christ to return in vengeance and will shed the blood of Israel's enemies.

Joel 3:2 (KJV)  I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Did you catch that? The nations scattered HIS heritage among the nations and parted HIS land.

In the last days Israel will stand alone and it will be Jerusalem, God's holy city that the  world will battle over.

In Zechariah we read…

Zechariah 12:2-3 (KJV)  Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

3  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

We know that the enemy, Satan,  hates Israel. If he can rid the world of the Hebrew people, then he can make God out to be a liar. That is why he has tried throughout history to wipe Israel off the face of the map.

Satan has not succeeded, but the hate for God's chosen people grows, especially in these last days.

Back in 2008 it was reported that Anti-Semitism was on the rise…

Anti-Semitism on the rise globally

A report from the U.S. State Department details "an upsurge" across the world of anti-Semitism -- hostility and discrimination toward Jewish people.

"Today, more than 60 years after the Holocaust, anti-Semitism is not just a fact of history, it is a current event," the report says.

That was 2008, fast forward to today and it has grown even worse.

But what really saddens me is that fact that we as America have joined the ranks of haters of Israel.  Our Muslim leaning president who sides with the enemies of Israel, has been pushing her more and more to give up land thus alienating our only true ally in the Middle East.

I never thought that we would be where we are today. We are standing upon a curse instead of standing upon a blessing.

Genesis  12:3 (KJV)  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Should it surprise us that our Muslim favoring President stands against Israel? No; Islam is what he was raised with and he will not depart far from it.

Scripture says…

Proverbs  22:6(KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Even though he lies to the American public, his upbringing cannot be hidden. He was raised a Muslim, he hates the people of the book (Christians) and he hates Israel and her people.

An Open Letter Concerning Glenn Beck

Over the last few months there have been many questions and much conversation about the popular broadcaster Glenn Beck and his professed Mormon faith. This letter seeks to identify and clear up the confusion concerning both Beck's stand and about the marked differences between Mormonism and historic, biblical Christianity. Please understand that we do not write these words in an effort to simply be "right" or to win an argument. The purpose of the letter is to determine the truth — something that Glenn Beck himself constantly lauds.

Let us begin by saying that we appreciate the stand Glenn Beck has made concerning our country, its foundation, and the great need for America to come back to God. Many of us have no doubt learned and gleaned information from Beck's thorough research and many fine, conservative guests. In fact, as he has stated many times on his national television program on the Fox News Channel and on his much-listened to radio program, the only hope America, indeed any person or nation, has is to return to and surrender to God. What does archaeology say about the Book of Mormon?

The debate between those from the Mormon cult and orthodox Christianity continues.  Because of it, there is a tremendous amount of information available for those who are sincerely interested in knowing more about Mormonism and whether it is truthful or not.

One of the better sites on the 'Net is Mormonism Research Society.  This site goes into depth regarding many of the most commonly stated "facts" about Mormonism by Mormons.  These are things that are stated regularly and continually by those from Mormonism, yet while many have a sliver of truth, the plain fact is that they are untrue.

I am not trying to attack Mormonism, although Joseph Smith lobbed the first volley when he denied the authenticity or veracity of Christendom since the death of the last apostle, John.  What I am simply trying to do is point out obvious falsehoods surrounding Mormonism (and I may do the same for Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.).  Readers are free to avail themselves of this information or not, it is completely up to each individual.

You Live in a What?

I suppose it is time to let the cat out of the bag. 

I am in favor of ‘alternative living styles!’

Before you decide that I have lost my mind, let me explain.

I was taught while growing up that one does what one must in order to ‘make it’.  That means paying the bills, and living independently of government or private assistance.  No one wanted to be ‘beholdin to anyone’.  That means you did not want to owe anyone favors for favors given to you. If the bank favors you with a loan, you are not your own boss again until that loan is repaid.  If the Lord suddenly called you to move from one place to another, you could not go easily until you had paid what you owed.  Living by this rule requires some alternative solutions to living.  It might require an alternative type of home.

Unfortunately, the world has made it very easy to become beholding to everyone and every institution.  And, if you have some notion that you do not want to be beholding to anyone, there are enough enticements and peer pressure that you will soon find yourself beholding to at least five lending institutions, and probably a number of manipulative people as well.

Important letter from PZ Insider Rick & Tomi

Tomi and I were talking the other day about the power behind the word "sacrifice".  We use the word now and then, but generally not in relationship to any kind of real hardship.  It's usually used when speaking about wanting to get away for a few days, so we'll need to "sacrifice" going out to dinner a few times this month, or filling up our time with so many obligations that we are "sacrificing" our personal time together.  We have realized, however, that we have not been using this word very often during our spiritual conversations.  We understand and are totally humbled by the sacrifice God made for us and know that without that sacrifice we would have no hope of salvation.  We love the Lord so much and are grateful beyond measure and praise His Holy name, but we asked ourselves have we ever sacrificed for the Lord?
 
We certainly had a list of things we had changed in our lives since accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Tomi quit smoking and we both swore off of any alcohol consumption.  We think before we speak to avoid bad language and we totally police our television and movie viewing.  However, when you fall in love with Jesus Christ you do these things so willingly and happily in order to please Him.  There was no sense of sacrifice for either of us.  One of the definitions in Webster's dictionary for "sacrficing" is.....to give something up for an ideal belief.  We began to discuss what was important to us right now and what could we "give up"?
 
In making a list of what would be important in this day and age, Tomi and I realized that we didn't have enough paper and time to list every single concern and problem in this world.  So many of us are suffering economically, but so many more of us are suffering spiritually.  We have so little time left in this age, but eternity is just around the corner.  I have a feeling that when I arrive home to see my Father in Heaven He's going to ask me, "Who did you bring with you?"  I do not want to arrive empty handed!  Not all of us, however, have the time or resources to be full-time or even part-time evangelists.  When we are given the opportunity to witness we do need to have answers and resources to help new believers continue growing in their new found faith.  This is where our pastors, teachers, televangelists and internet ministries come in to play.  Since my wife and I do a lot of our work on the computer this is where we also get a lot of our information on end time prophecy, answers to biblical questions, sermons in article form and interaction with other Christians all over the nation!  For us, this is mostly made possible through Prophezine and the work of Ray and Tracye Gano.  So, Getting back to what we decided would be at the top of our list of what is important today we feel it should be witnessing.  Time is short and we pray that absolutely no one gets left behind!  We decided to make this our top priority in prayer.
 
Praying is something we all can do and should do on a daily basis.  Praying for the Holy Spirit to touch the minds and souls of every non-believer in the world is a tall order.  Realistically we know that we won't make 100% in conversions before the Rapture happens, but we want to pray and cry out for every brother and sister on this planet to hear the voice of the Lord.  We want to raise our level of prayer and this is where we thought we could add "sacrifice" along with the sound of our voices being sent up to the Lord.  Both of us have decided to give up something each month that we truly depend on having, want to have, look forward to having but do not need to have in order to live.  We would "sacrifice" this desire as long as we were praying for this Country and the unsaved across the world.  For my wife and myself it's going to be the same thing......soda! lol  It may not sound like a sacrifice, but believe me it is!  We love our carbonated soda's and both drink at least 2 a day, everyday.  It will bother us and keep coming to mind that a soda sure would taste great right now; but every time it does that, it will be a call to prayer.
 
Ok, so now we know what we will be concentrating on in prayer and what we will be sacrificing, but something didn't ring true.  What was it?  I realized that if Tomi and I combinedc stopped drinking 4 sodas a day then we would actually be saving $70.00 a month.  Wow, we sure could use the extra $70.00 a month so maybe this isn't a sacrifice at all?  Now what?  It's all very simple really.....we stop drinking the soda we crave to emphasize the importance and desire behind our prayers for this country and the unsaved and we also send $70.00 to the ministry that is working so hard to help us stay on this blessed path, to educate us, to help us to be Watchers on the Wall and to witness wherever and whenever we can!  The light bulb just went on!  What a blessing for Tomi and I to be able to pray and sacrifice something so small that affords us the $70.00 to send to Prophezine which will in a small way help Ray and Tracye Gano to continue with their ministry for God!  Wow!...funny how these things work out.  Thank you, Jesus.  We love you so much!
