Share The Cross For Hell Waits This week has been amazing; we have seen four well known celebrities die.

Michael Jackson
Billy Mays

But the one who is taking most of the airplay is Michael Jackson, the king of pop.

I have been reading a lot of articles about Michael, and out of that I realized something…. I believe Michael was a saddened miserable soul seeking to fill a hole he did not know how to fill.

Last night I came across an article by David Pack. For those of you who do not know who David Pack is, he is the music director of Saddleback Church, the very same church that world famous author of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren leads.

When I was reading David’s article I was literally to the point of vomiting, but not only that, I was angry too.

What upset me is that in and among all smoking, joking and bottles of wine, David writes…

“During that special evening, I felt the need to share my faith with him, to let him know that another Christian artist was sitting next to him. So when he whispered, “How can I ever thank you for this wonderful night?” I said, “Michael, I didn’t put this together, God did!” He said, “Oh yes, I believe that with all of my heart.”

I told him I was a Christian, and he said he was, too. We talked about the first Christian song we’d both heard as children: “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong.” With the dinner party loudly going on around us, we both quietly leaned in and sang the song, smiling like choirboys. “Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.” Then we gave each other a short embrace.

I knew at that moment that this sweet-spirited young genius was going to find his eternal peace in heaven.”

So based on singing a children’s song and a couple of words about God putting the dinner together, this man is able to claim…

“one of the greatest artists of our time is now moon-walking along the gold paved roads of heaven, where streets have no name, with a broad smile on his face, and a band of angels welcoming him home.”

I am dumbfounded, but more than that I am angry.

Preaching Our Way Back Home Tour

I am still working on solid dates for this road trip, but it is looking like I might take the eastern route from Colorado through Kansas and then drop down into Oklahoma and on into Texas.

The reason for this trip is to pick up the vehicle that has presented itself. It is my hope and prayer that I can secure enough speaking engagements to pay the funds back for the vehicle we are getting. PZ Insider Lydia is providing us the vehicle all we need to do is pay her back for the repairs she has made. We have been praying for a solid vehicle for a long time and many have presented themselves, but none really fit the bill nor did God allow us to move forward on it.

This vehicle in Denver however God has really opened the doors for us, so like I said, we are taking a step in faith and "preaching our way back home."

So if you live in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas and you would like to have me come preach, then contact me.

It is my son and I that are taking the road trip and we seek places to lay our heads at night and fill our tummies. If you are willing to put us up, we will even do the dishes. But more than anything, I am really seeking the fellowship and getting the chance to meet you while I am on the road back home.

Folks, I don't care how large or small a group there is, I just want to share the gospel and the blessed hope of our Lord's soon return. If you have 4-5 people in your home, I don't mind, I will come and preach, if you a larger group at church, I don't mind, I will come and preach.

We are living in the last days of the last days, events taking place all over the world is pointing daily to bible prophecy.

If you would like for me to come speak, all I am asking is that you feed us, give us a place to sleep, let me tell people about Prophezine and provide a love offering. All in all everything is up to the Lord and what ever He provides is fine with me. He is Jehovah Jireh, our provider and our faith and trust is in Him.

Historical Evidence of the Bible

The last one hundred and fifty years of archeological exploration in the Middle East has provided students of the Bible with an unparalleled abundance of evidence confirming thousands of detailed historical statements found in both the Old and New Testaments. In this chapter, we will explore a small fraction of the powerful historical and archeological evidence that has been discovered in Israel and throughout the Middle East that throws new light on the pivotal events that have shaped our modern Western culture. It is important that we place this evidence in its proper context. Archeology and historical documents can never prove that the Bible is inspired. Rather, the confirmation of the statements of the Bible through archeological and historical investigations provides us with powerful evidence of the historical truthfulness of the Word of God and indicates that its statements were accurately transmitted over thousands of years.

One of the greatest of these pioneer archeologists is the Jewish scholar Dr. Nelson Glueck, considered by many to be the greatest Jewish archeologist in history. Professor Glueck has written, "It is worth emphasizing that in all this work no archaeological discovery has ever controverted a single, properly understood biblical statement." 1 Professor Glueck's statement is a powerful antidote to the pervasive skepticism and unbelief of so many of the liberal theologians who inhabit the seminaries and universities of the West. Despite the cynicism and skepticism of many liberal theologians to the accuracy of the biblical account the scientific evidence of archeology continues to confirm the accuracy of the Bible's statements. Meanwhile, liberal theologians continue to ignore this overwhelming evidence in favor of their presuppositions and strongly held prejudice against the authority, inspiration, and accuracy of the Word of God.

Dr. Glueck wrote about the wonder of exploring the ancient ruins of the Promised Land and finding confirmation after confirmation of the truthfulness of this incomparable book, the Holy Scriptures.

In the Twinkling Of an Eye - The Imminency of the Rapture

Mainline theologians have long taught that the rapture of New Testament Christianity is imminent - that is, at any moment. We have held to the view of a pretribulation rapture primarily because a mid or post-trib rapture would not be imminent. If any predicted event had to occur before the rapture, the church would be awaiting that event instead of the shout and trumpet sound. If we did not keep ourselves diligent, we might not have an incentive to keep ourselves pure. Also, the teaching of Jesus that no man would know the day nor hour would be invalid.

Over the past twenty years, however, novel interpretations of the rapture have emerged. Some scholars teach a mid-trib; others a post-trib; and some a pre-wrath view of the rapture. In this study, I propose to confirm the conservative view of a pre-tribulation rapture. It revolves around the New Testament teaching that the church is the bride of Christ and is separate from Israel, the historically wayward wife of Jehovah. Those who teach that the church will go through the tribulation, seemingly, do not understand the difference between the church and Judaism.

Who are the Palestinians?

One of the most misunderstood issues today is the question of "Who are the Palestinians"? The truth about this matter has been so deliberately obscured that even to raise the question will seem strange to most readers.

In my book, " The Everlasting Hatred, the Roots of Jihad" I trace the history of the people now being called the "Palestinians." The land of Israel became known as Palestine after the Roman destruction of Israel in A.D. 70. It was ruled by many different invaders for the following 19 centuries.

In the 7th century, the Muslims took control of Palestine for the first time. From A.D. 635 until 1917, the Muslims ruled it, with only a few interruptions by the European Crusaders. During that span of time, the land was reduced to total desolation. Many people who traveled the land in the 19th century remarked on the fact that Palestine was as desolate as the moon and very few people lived there.

In 1867, Mark Twain remarked about his visit to the Holy Land in his book, "The Innocents Abroad." He lamented, "Stirring scenes occur in the valley [of Jezreel] no more. There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent – not for 30 miles in either direction. There are two or three small clusters of Bedouin tents, but not a single permanent habitation. One may ride 10 miles hereabouts and not see 10 human beings."

As centuries come and go, history occasionally reveals sudden, momentous changes that transform cultures in ways that defy human logic. One of these astounding leaps began about 400 years ago. It brought light into the darkness of the Middle Ages and safety to people bound by fear, superstition and tyranny.

Historian Randall Roth summarizes what happened. His research showed little variation in the rate of human violence between the 14th and the 16th centuries. “Then in the 17th century, there is a very big, dramatic drop,” he says. “It’s so sudden and rapid that it seems too hard to explain...."

Mr. Roth ought to know. From his base at Ohio State University, he had uncovered detailed documentation of 16th and 17th century murder rates which suggested "that countries don’t become more or less civilized that quickly."
